About this directory
What this site is
Pickleball Court Guide is an independent directory covering 121 pickleball court businesses across the Klang Valley. It exists for players who want a quick, honest way to compare courts, coaching outfits, and club facilities before they book or turn up to play. Instead of asking you to wade through scattered reviews and outdated Facebook posts, we pull together public business data and recent customer sentiment into one comparable, ranked list.
We also generate enquiries for local providers: when you ask to be matched with a court or coaching service, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that introduction. This is disclosed again on the quote page itself. Referral arrangements never touch scores or earned rankings, and no business can pay to move up the list.
Where the data comes from
Each listing is built from public business information (things like location, hours, facilities, and contact details) plus a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We do not republish review text or copy comments wholesale. Where we reference sentiment, we summarise the pattern across recent reviews and link out to the source on Google so you can read the original reviews yourself.
How rankings are earned
Every ranking comes from a published rubric applied consistently to the data we collect, covering things like review volume, sentiment trends, responsiveness, and facility details. There is no manual override for money, and there is no way to buy a better position. If a business wants to see exactly how scoring works, the full breakdown is on our methodology page.
A business that finds incorrect facts on its own listing (wrong phone number, outdated hours, a closed location) can request a correction and have it fixed. What it cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position in the ranking. Those stay independent of the business being listed.
Sponsored placements
Some pages carry sponsored listings. These are always labelled “Sponsored,” always displayed in a separate section from the earned ranking, and never blended into or substituted for organic results. Paying for a sponsored placement has no bearing on a business’s actual score.
Who publishes this
Pickleball Court Guide is published by Waypoint Local Guides, which runs independent local directories for everyday services across Malaysia. Editorial oversight of the Klang Valley pickleball rankings sits with Sarah, Editor, who maintains the scoring and review process for this directory. Waypoint Local Guides publishes its scoring approach openly, does not sell rankings, and labels every sponsored placement so readers can tell it apart from earned results.
Listings here go through a monthly refresh cycle, and you’ll see a “last verified” date on individual listings showing when that record was last checked. For more of Waypoint Local Guides’ directories, visit waypoint.my, or reach the publisher directly at hello@waypoint.my.
